Memory verse
“Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.”
Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
Jesus asked Bartimaeus, "What do you want me to do for you?" Bartimaeus answered that he wanted to see. Jesus told him to go, because his faith had made him well.
At once Bartimaeus could see. He did not hurry away to do something else. He joined Jesus on the road and followed him. The people who had been walking with Jesus saw what had happened.
Bartimaeus had called out when he heard Jesus was near, even though some people tried to quiet him. Jesus stopped to listen. Bartimaeus received his sight and chose to travel with Jesus.
Questions to ask
