Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
As Jesus travelled between Samaria and Galilee, he came near a village. Ten men with a skin disease stood at a distance and called out, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"
Jesus saw them and told them to go and show themselves to the priests. The men went, and as they travelled they were made well. The priests could see that they were healed, so the men could return to their communities.
One of the men later came back to thank Jesus. He praised God loudly and bowed at Jesus' feet. Jesus noticed that the man had returned, while the others had continued on their way.
Questions to ask
- How many men called to Jesus?
- What did Jesus tell the men to do?
- What happened as the men went on their way?
