“and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.”

A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
Jesus and his disciples met a man who had been blind since birth. Jesus made mud, put it on the man's eyes and told him to wash in the pool of Siloam.
The man went to the pool and washed. When he came back, he could see. His neighbours were amazed and asked questions because they had known him as the man who used to sit and ask for help.
The man told them that Jesus had healed him. Later he met Jesus again and learned more about him. People did not all agree about what had happened, but the man knew that he had been blind and now could see.
Questions to ask
- Where did the man wash?
- What happened when the man washed?
- How did the neighbours know that something remarkable had happened?
