A woman had been ill for twelve years. She had gone to many doctors, but she had not become well. She heard about Jesus and came through the crowd behind him.
The woman thought that if she touched even the edge of his clothes, she would be healed. She reached out and touched his cloak. At once she knew she was well. Jesus stopped and asked who had touched him.
The woman came forward and told him the truth. Jesus called her "Daughter" and told her that her faith had made her well. He sent her away in peace. Jesus listened to her and spoke to her kindly.
