About the story

Psalm 23 is one of the best-loved passages in the Bible. It was written by King David, who had been a shepherd boy himself.

David pictures God as a good shepherd who gives His sheep everything they need: green grass, still waters and a safe path. Even in the darkest valley, the sheep don't need to be afraid, because the shepherd is with them.

There is one colouring page for each verse, so children can learn the whole psalm as they colour — a lovely way to memorise it together.
