About Abraham
Abraham (first called Abram) lived in a city called Haran. One day God told him to leave his home and go to a new land. Abraham didn't know where he was going, but he trusted God and set off.
God promised Abraham that his family would be as many as the stars in the sky, even though he and his wife Sarah were old and had no children. Abraham believed God.
When Abraham was 100 years old, God kept His promise and Isaac was born. Abraham is remembered as a great example of faith.
