Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
The Queen of Sheba heard about Solomon’s wisdom and travelled a long way to meet him. She brought gifts and asked him many difficult questions.
Solomon answered her questions. She saw his palace, the food at his table, and the way he served as king. She was amazed by his wisdom and by all that God had given him.
The queen praised God for making Solomon king. She gave him gifts, and then she returned to her own land.
Questions to ask
- What do the two rulers wear on their heads?
- What did the Queen of Sheba ask Solomon?
- Why was the queen amazed when she visited Solomon?
