About Elisha
Elisha was a prophet who served God after Elijah. He travelled through Israel and helped many people. Elisha told a widow that her small jar of oil would fill the empty jars she borrowed. He helped Naaman wash in the Jordan River and be healed. When an axe head fell into the river, Elisha helped it float so its owner could retrieve it. Elisha also reassured his servant when an army surrounded the city. The servant saw horses and chariots of fire on the hills after Elisha prayed.
