“Then went he down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.”

A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
Naaman travelled to see Elisha, hoping the prophet would heal him. Elisha sent a messenger with a simple instruction: wash in the Jordan River seven times. At first Naaman was upset that Elisha had not come out to meet him. His servants encouraged him to follow the instruction. Naaman went down into the river and dipped himself seven times. When he came up, he was well. He returned to Elisha and thanked him. Naaman learned that he did not need a grand ceremony; he needed to listen and do what the prophet said. The river water and the number seven are important details in this story.
Questions to ask
