The story behind this colouring sheet
Daniel prayed to God every day by his window. When a new law said nobody could pray to anyone except the king, Daniel kept praying anyway — because he loved God.
So Daniel was thrown into a den full of lions, and a big stone was rolled over the entrance. King Darius was so worried that he couldn't eat or sleep.
Early in the morning, the king ran to the den and called out, "Daniel! Has your God saved you?" And Daniel answered, "My God sent His angel and shut the lions' mouths!" Daniel wasn't hurt at all.
