About Daniel
Daniel was taken from Jerusalem to Babylon when he was young. He became a wise and trusted helper to the king, and he prayed to God three times every day.
When jealous men tricked the king into making praying to God against the law, Daniel kept praying anyway. He was thrown into a den of lions — but God sent an angel to shut the lions' mouths.
