Read the story together
A short version of the story to read aloud before colouring, with questions to ask afterwards.
Jesus spoke with a man named Nicodemus, who wanted to understand more about God. Jesus told him that God loved the world and gave his Son so that people who trust him could have eternal life. These words explain the heart of the good news: God's love reaches people everywhere.
The verse says that God's love is a gift. We do not have to earn it by being perfect. Christians believe that Jesus came to bring people close to God and show them how to live. Eternal life means life with God that begins now and lasts beyond death. When we hear this verse, we can remember that God's love is for the whole world, including people from every place and family.
