Jesus told a story about a rich farmer whose land produced a huge harvest. The farmer had so much grain that his barns could not hold it. He decided to pull them down and build larger ones, then store everything for himself. He thought he would have enough to relax for many years. But Jesus warned that a person's life is not measured by the amount of things they own. The farmer had planned to keep everything, but he had not thought about sharing or caring for others. Jesus taught people to be rich toward God by valuing what lasts. We can be thankful for what we have and share with people who need help.
